Squash fans wanting to be part of our sport’s history are now able to register their application for squash volunteer positions at the upcoming LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games, where squash will make its Olympic debut.
The news follows the launch of the LA28 Volunteer Program presented by Delta Air Lines last week.
Games-time volunteering through the LA28 Volunteer Program will see a crew of 60,000 set the stage and keep it running smoothly for the biggest Olympic and Paralympic Games in history. Roles will be available in eight categories that applicants can express their interest in, including communications, driving, experience, medical, Ceremonies, operations, sport and technology.
Some roles will require specialised skills which applicants can indicate within their application, including in areas such as medicine and language translation.

In order to register for squash volunteer positions, head to volunteer.la28.org and enter the code ZTI48UGZ when registering.
Please note, codes do not guarantee receiving a role, nor are they required to apply.
People of all abilities who meet the following requirements are encouraged to apply:
- Be 18 years or older at the time of your application
- Be proficient in English (reading and writing)
- Be available for a minimum of 10 non-consecutive shifts (of approximately eight hours each) during the 2028 Olympic or Paralympic Games periods
